TC Eagle Students are Soaring in Athletics and Music

Troy Christian student athletes and musicians have been very competitive these past two weekends. It’s great to see coaches and teams who honor God, to see dedication at practices, and then to realize that hard work really does pay off! So happy for these student athletes and musicians who love what they do.

First up, our AWESOME swim team! This week they left a lot of challengers “eating their bubbles,” as they swam personal bests, broke school records, and scored times that placed them in the district competition. Best of all….THEY TOOK SECTIONALS! Stay tuned for district results and more pictures. This team is making waves!

On Friday, Feb. 12, the TC Boys Swim Team won the Sectional Title at Trotwood; 8 boys qualified for Districts in all 11 events and 6 school records were broken.

Next, meet the 2016 8th Grade Boys Buckeye Metro Conference Championship Winners! In a nail-biter of a win, they pulled it out for a score of 39-38. Way to go 8th grade boys basketball!

Annddddd…...the 8th grade girls won too! Meet the 2016 8th Grade Girls Metro Conference Champions:

The Varsity girls basketball team had a disappointing loss during the first round of tournament play, but they had a great season with lots of young players. Keep your eyes on these girls next year! They are fierce.

The Varsity boys basketball team is headed into tournament play next week. Here’s information from the athletic department: BOYS VARSITY BASKETBALL DIVISION 4 SECTIONAL TOURNAMENT. First game vs. the winner of the Miami Valley vs. Southeastern game.  We will play the winner on Wed., Feb. 24 @ 6:00 p.m. @ Troy HS

For tickets to the game, purchase in the Athletics Dept. office. Pre-sale tickets are $6.00/ticket for students (grades 1st - 12th) and adults.  If we sell 25 or more pre-sale tickets per game, Troy Christian will be able to keep 50% of the pre-sale ticket proceeds.
