ESM Course/trip selection is Tuesday, October 21, 2008. If a student wishes to participate in an overnight trip then they must also bring a signed parental permission form along with the required deposit (for trips over $100) to hold the reservation. If you desire to participate in the payment plan (for ESM trips over $450) then they must also bring the Optional Payment Plan Form. Trip balances and course fees (less than $450) are due Tuesday, January 13, 2009. 

What is ESM?

Troy Christian Jr. High and High School students attend non-traditional courses or trips during ESM Week. ESM stands for Enrichment, Service, and Ministry. These courses/trips provide an opportunity for the teachers and students to explore  topics that may be difficult to integrate into their regular curriculum. The students are encouraged to select an experience that fits with their own interests and budgets. Many of the courses include trips away from campus in order to gain first hand experience with a specific topic. It is our belief that such  experiences help TCHS students make critical decisions in the college and career process. 

We offer a variety of topics each year. Course/trip fees range from minimal to several hundred dollars. There is definitely something for everyone! We allow seniors to make their selections first followed by juniors, sophomores and freshmen. Students should come prepared with three choices so that if their top choice is full, they know their second choice, etc.
