“We need people who think with the creative side of their brains—people who have played in a band, who have painted…it enhances symbiotic thinking capabilities, not always thinking in the same paradigm, learning how to kick-start a new idea, or how to get a job done better, less expensively.”

Troy Christian believes that the fine arts play a valuable role in our school and as a part of a student’s education. The fine arts give a student the opportunity to draw closer to God through personal expression of art, music, and drama. Our fine arts classes and extracurricular opportunities help create a well-rounded individual and allow a student to discover and develop their passions and God-given abilities.
Troy Christian provides a broad fine arts program for all our students. Beginning in preschool and childcare, art and music are integrated organically into the child’s day. Our student at the elementary level participate in music and art classes throughout the week. Beginning in 5th grade, students are given the opportunity to focus their music education through band, choir and worship team. In high school, a variety of elective art and music classes and extracurricular options are offered to allow students a more in-depth study and expression of their gifts.
