No matter your financial situation, your journey to finding money for college should start with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid - Students should submit the F.A.F.S.A. as soon as possible after January 1st. This form and other helpful information is available by clicking here.

Scholarship Information for the Athlete

Marvin Lewis Community Fund announces scholarship for outstanding high school senior athletes in the tri-state region for performance in the classroom, on the field, and in the community with four-year $20,000 scholarship to the college or university of their choice.

The Burger King Scholars Program

The Ray Wright Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of a McDonald's owner operator of five restaurants in Dayton, OH.

Meijer Scholarship- For Meijer team members or children.  Over 100 $2,500 scholarships will be awarded as well as two, $10,000 awards: Application online -  Due April 1, 2014.

Midmark Technical Scholarship award - one is offered to a graduating high school senior from Darke, Miami, Mercer, Auglaize and Shelby county high schools in Ohio. The scholarship is worth $20,000.00 with some additional requirements.  Due March 1. See application for more details.

The Mote & Associates, Inc. Scholarship was established in honor of Richard T. Mote, P.E., P.S. as founder of the firm for his dedicated leadership and his passion for engineering and surveying.

The Printing Industries Educational Funds, Inc. (PIEF) offers valuable scholarship assistance for those interested in a graphic communications, print management, printing technology or graphic arts at an accredited educational institution. Engineers Foundation of Ohio's college scholarship program.  Our scholarship program is for graduating high school seniors who will be enrolling in an ABET (Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology) accredited college engineering program next Fall. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact EFO Manager of Administration Pam McClure at (614) 223-1177.

The scholarships are sponsored by the Engineers Foundation of Ohio (EFO) in conjunction with the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE).

To be eligible for these scholarships, a student must meet all of the following criteria:

  • be a graduating high school senior (exceptions noted in individual scholarship descriptions);  
  • have at least a 3.0 (A=4.0) grade point average;  
  • meet the minimum SAT (Math=600, Reading or Composition=500) or ACT (Math=29, English=25) test scores as set by the National Society of Professional Engineers; &  
  • be a citizen of the United States and a permanent resident of the State of Ohio.

FIRST Scholarships - Many colleges and universities, professional associations, and corporations offer college scholarships to high school students on FIRST teams.
