Scrip Program Guidelines
Each participant in the SCRIP program must complete an enrollment form prior to placing their first order. Each participant will be asked to re-register each school year. If you are not registered, your order will not be processed.
Only one order per registrant per week and only one payment per order is accepted. Forms of acceptable payment are cash, check or money order. If friends or family members want to help with your tuition reduction, combine their order with yours and make one payment to cover the total order. Only payment from the registrant will be accepted. Make checks payable to Troy Christian Schools and remember this is not tax deductible because you receive dollar for dollar value. If your check is returned because of non-sufficient funds (NSF), you will be charged a $40 fee payable to Troy Christian Schools. After two NSF checks are tendered on your account, your SCRIP ordering privileges will be limited to money order or cash only.

This program is to help TCS families with their tuition; therefore the money credited to your account will only be used for tuition reduction or for the previously mentioned accounts. In the event your child no longer attends TCS for any reason, the monies held under your account can be credited to your outstanding account balance or transferred to another family account of your choice. Otherwise, it will be applied to the Troy Christian Schools account to help with general expenses. Written notification of where funds are to be credited must be received within 60 days after the child has left school.

The percentage earned on each participating family’s account will be held in the SCRIP account until the months of May and October. Your tuition will be adjusted for the months of June and November and the credit you have earned will be applied. This applies to monthly payment plans. Semester payment plans will have the credit applied for the months of July and November. For yearly payment plans, your credit will be applied to your yearly balance due on July 1.
One percent (1%) of the dollar amount of all certificates ordered will be held in the SCRIP overhead account. This is only applied to companies that give 3% or more. The monies in the SCRIP overhead account will be used to pay for the general operating expenses of the program and any remaining monies will be distributed at the end of the fiscal year to Troy Christian Schools for general operating expenses. The administrators will use these funds at their discretion to further benefit your child.
    Order Drop-off:

Orders must be in the SCRIP mailbox by Monday morning at 9 a.m. Orders that come in after 9 a.m. will be held until the following week. Since all certificate orders must be accompanied by cash, check or money order, we will not take orders over the telephone or fax machine. The SCRIP mailbox is located in the high school and elementary offices. Teachers are not responsible for orders reaching these mailboxes; students dropping off orders must put them in the SCRIP mailbox. Each registrant must sign a WAIVER OF RESPONSIBILITY form if they are permitting their student to deliver payment for purchase of scrip certificates or to pick-up certificates. These forms will be kept on file, and Troy Christian accepts no responsibility for certificates delivered in this manner.
    Order Pick-up:
Your certificates will be available on Thursday following the Monday your order was placed. SCRIP pick up hours will be Thursday afternoon between 3-4 p.m. in the High School Athletic Foyer and Friday morning between
8:30-9:30 am in the Elementary Welcome hallway. All orders must be signed for when they are picked up. When you sign for your order, you are agreeing that everything is correct concerning your order. Once it has left our volunteers, it is no longer our responsibility. Therefore, lost or stolen certificates will not be replaced.
Please take extra care when adding your order. If your order and payment do not balance, we will adjust the order to fit the amount of the payment. Certificates cannot be returned or exchanged once they have been purchased.
If the entire school is closed on Monday, we will place the order on Tuesday and pick-up will be Friday only. If your student is absent on Monday,  then you will need to make arrangements to get the order to the school by the deadline or wait until the following week.
