We believe the key to being a successful Christian School is our staff members. We are grateful for those who are professionally qualified, who love children, and who, by the pattern of their lives, are Christian role models (Luke 6:40). We encourage each faculty, staff and administrative employee to use and develop the gifts that God has given them.
Below you will find a list of the three core distinctives of our school and how they relate to what we are looking for in an applicant.
We seek those who have specifically prepared themselves for serving in a Christian school through education, licensure (as applicable), and experience. Troy Christian strives to seek the most qualified candidates as possible in order to provide our students with a higher level education experience. Simply put, as educators, we are seeking lifelong learners.
We seek those who understand the big picture of ministry and how God has called us to lead a servant lifestyle. We walk this out as a school in a variety of different avenues and encourage our staff to live this out by investing in our community and the lives of our students.
Spiritual formation, both among students and staff is an integral part of our ministry. We seek those with a personal, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ exhibited through the fruits of the spirit, an active church life, and a commitment to live a biblical lifestyle. We seek those who are called by God and fully embrace our philosophy of “the heart of education is the education of the heart”.
