Purpose

Our focus is to assist families seeking an alternative education plan. We desire to join parents in the development of the hearts and minds of their students. When you join our program, we come alongside and equip parents to pursue the spiritual, educational, and personal goals for their children. Our experienced advisers encourage and direct parents in the God given task of being the teacher that God designed them to be.

On the whole, our vision is to assist Christian parents in discipling their own children in godliness and training in the proper educational goals. We want to teach students to use their abilities in order to honor God, benefit the Body of Christ, and bless and evangelize people in their circles of influence.

What We Offer

7-12 Alternative Education

Parents who elect to participate in TC’s Alternative Education Program are agreeing to be the primary teacher of their student/s. There are two choices available to families.

Option 1: Support Only
  • We assist parents in planning a school year that will lead students toward graduation.
  • We provide the curriculum with a detailed written syllabus to follow.
  • Each family will be assigned an experienced adviser who offers encouragement, accountability and counseling throughout the school year.
  • Every alternative education student is considered a Troy Christian student. Accordingly, we welcome them to participate in weekly chapels. Also we encourage students to join in any of the many extracurricular activities offered at TC. Students may select from vocal and instrumental music opportunities, theatre, and a wide variety of athletic programs are available to our students (additional fees may apply).

Option 2: 1-2 Classes On-Campus
  • In addition to everything stated above, for an additional fee, 7th -12th grade students have the option of taking up to two classes on-campus.
